New Delhi: PM Modi inaugurates Seva Teerth, his new office address in Delhi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Seva Teerth complex on Friday, the new building which houses the Prime Minister’s Office, the National Security Council Secretariat, and the Cabinet Secretariat.

Centre said in an official statement that the new buildings reflect “India’s administrative governance architecture and reflects the Prime Minister’s commitment to building a modern, efficient, accessible and citizen-centric governance ecosystem.”

Earlier, the Prime Minister’s Office, the National Security Council Secretariat, the Cabinet Secretariat, were located across different locations.

The Seva Teerth was inaugurated by PM Modi on February 13 as the date carries a historic significance. It marks 95 years of New Delhi being formally inaugurated as India’s modern capital on February 13, 1931.

Along with Seva Teerth, PM Modi will also inaugurate Kartavya Bhavan 1 and 2, which will accommodate several key ministries, including the Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Defence, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Culture, Ministry of Law & Justice, Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare, Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers and Ministry of Tribal Affairs.
